QUARTZITE FILTER WITH DOUBLE FILTERING CHAMBER

We suggest this filter for drip installations with water withdrawals from rives, little lakes in the hills or retting grounds. It is made of a hot galvanized tank, put in a perpendicular position and containing volcanic gravel or fragments of wasch marble, of 1 mm. and 3 mm. size.
The water comes in from the upper part of double filtering chamber and it is pushed through the grit which, by means of its acute angles, seizes the slender tissue of the algas or the organic substances. However, for safety’s sake, a little screen cylinder with filtering silve of 125 mesch is put before the outlet mouth. The filter is provide with a by-pass for washing the grit and for expelling algas or other substances.
